| WATERBRUSH |
This
is one cool accessory! Follow the directions below and put it
to use!
1. Unscrew the barrel from the tip of the brush. Remove the
small black ring. Fill the barrel with water, replace the black
ring and screw back together.
2. Squeeze some water out onto a paper towel by squeezing the
barrel holding the water. This will wet the tip of the brush.
Blot excess water from the tip onto paper towel.
3. With the brush now dampened, dip the brush in any ink (ink
on the inside lid of the ink pad works well) to pick up ink.
Begin coloring your image without squeezing the barrel holding
the water.
4. To clean, simply squeeze the barrel so that water runs out
the tip of the brush, taking the ink with it. Blot on a paper
towel. |

BLENDING PENS |
These
are incredible and so versatile! Look at the different ways
you can use your blending pens:
1. Use your blending pen with any of our Close To My Heart®
Exclusive Inks™ markers by picking up color from the tip of
the colored marker with your blending pen. Color your stamped
image in with the blending pen.
2. Take any of our Close To My Heart® Exclusive Inks™ markers
and scribble color onto any non-porous surface such as glass,
styrofoam or plastic. Pick up the color with the blending pen
and proceed with coloring stamped image in.
3. Use the blending pen to pick ink color directly off of any
ink pad. Or try this: with the ink pad lid closed, squeeze in
the center so that you get ink on the inside of the ink pad
lid. Open up and pick up the ink from the inside of the lid.
4. Try the blending pen with your chalks and watercolor pencils.
5. Depending upon the type of paper or cardstock you are using,
you may be able to color directly on the paper with 2 marker
colors then use the blending pen to soften and blend the colors
together. NOTE: The blending pen is especially useful with dark
colored inks and/or markers. Because the blending pen is a clear
ink, you'll be able to lighten up any color. Also, I'd suggest
having one blending pen for each color group such as pinks,
blues, browns, reds, etc. 3-5 blending pens should be sufficient.
